From the East

 April 2008

Hello from the East

Well, April is upon us and the year is off to a fast start.

We have had a month to get ready for the fast pace that is in store for us. There will be a Fellow Craft degree practice on April 16th. I would like all that can to attend.

Worshipful Brother Ken Mathias is taking names for those brethern that would like to partake in the festivities that are coming up. The dinner with Grand Lodge as well as the lunch we are giving on May 3rd. There is a trip to Columbus on May 21st and June 27th.

We have several brothers and their families that are sick, injured, or in the hospital.

Brother Jim Knapp has been in a cast for the past 30 days. Right Worshipful Brother Randy Clark's daughter has undergone surgery. At this time, her recovery is slow but very hopeful. The lodge is going to send her something we hope will put a smile on her face.

Brother John Krieger was seen at our past stated meeting. He looks good and seems to be getting around well. He said that he wanted people to see that he was still alive.

The ladies of the lodge are going to receive a carriage ride some time in June. The ladies that come to stated meeting will set the day. If you would like some input, please come to some of our meetings.

I would also like to say thank you to Fay Tarter for the delicious desserts that she prepared for us. She has put not only taste but also love in the dessert. THANK YOU FAY!

As always, please take care of yourselves and the ones around you. These are troubled times we live in, and we need each other and the blessings of GOD to get through. Be well and happy.

Fraternally yours,
Steven E. Cooperstein, WM
