Joe Howell was born December 1, 1935 in
Manchester,OH. Be sure to wish him happy
birthday at our Dec meeting. He is married
to Nan. You can always spot his car by
its unforgetable license plate R NANA.
They have 4 children, Roger, Jeffrey, Sandra,
and Susan. They have been blessed with
grandchildren as well.
Before he retired, Joe was a special education
teacher at the Millcreek Psychiatric Center
for Children.
He petitioned our Lodge for initiation in 1970.
He accepted an appoitment almost as soon as
he was accepted into membership. In Nov.
1975 he was elected and installed as
Worshipful Master. He has served with
distinction on a number of committees and
is currently one of the leaders of the History
Committee. Joe is also an elder at the Hartwell
Presbyterian Church.
